Youth Programs

This summer we will offer 6 weeks of Camps for children between
5-12 and Mentorship program for Youth 13-16

On the first day, please bring all completed forms with you, including permission, medical, and camper information.

Each week camp will be action-packed with activities, including free play, arts and crafts, sports and indoor and outdoor games, to keep you FIRED UP. 

Fired Up English Camp

Day camps jammed packed with fun activities   with children from all over HRM.

Fired Up French Camp

All the same day camp activities your child loves with maintaining their French skills for the summer. 


Learn the fundamentals of the sport while in a fun-filled environment.  The main focus of  camper developing a passion for sports & physical activity  

  • For Day One:
    • Complete photo consent and program permission slip.
  • Remember for the rest of the week: 
    • Snacks and drinks (peanut/nut free please).
    • Remind staff of allergies.
    • Indoor running shoes (No flip flops or sandals please).
    • Hand Sanitizer.
    • Swimsuit, towels, sunscreen, hat and water bottle.
    • Change of clothes (just in case) and weather-appropriate attire.

  • Program start and end times are 8:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m.
  • Campers can add early drop-offs and late pick-ups.
  • Participants must be signed in and out of the program each day. Parents must have I.D. 
  • Children are asked not to bring money, personal toys, or electronics. 
  • Pack a full day of snacks, including drinks for your camper. 
  • Dress for the outdoors and ensure your child has a hat and sunscreen packed each day. 
  • Ensure each camper has hand sanitizer. 

  • Summer camps will consist of small groups 10 campers
  • When campers are in their small group, physical distancing is not required for groups of 20 or less
  • If a camper becomes sick, or displays any symptoms of COVID-19, parents/guardians will be contacted, and the camper must be picked up within the hour.
  • Staff and campers must practice proper personal hygiene etiquette (e.g.coughing/sneezing into your elbow, cover nose/mouth with tissues, avoid touching your face, etc.).
  • Drop-Off and Pick-Up: Parents/guardians are not permitted to enter the building
  • We ask that you limit the number of people responsible for dropping-off or picking-up your camper to help camp organized and safe
  • Camp drop-off/ pick-up door is located on the North East side double doors (Staff will be there to greet you)
  • If parents/guardians need to pick up their camper earlier than 4:30 p.m., you must notify the camp office before 9:30am the day of
  • Photo I.D. is required at pick-up. 
  • Health Screening: Before entering our facilities parents/guardians will have to answer health screening questions for campers to enter camp
